Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how LISA Film GmbH ("CZWTV," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit or use our streaming platform at CZWTV.com and any associated applications (the "Service"). This policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which provides further details about how we process your personal data.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, or other internet-enabled device) when you visit a website or use an online service. Cookies are widely used to make websites and applications function properly, to enhance user experience, and to provide information to the operators of the site or application.
Cookies may be "session cookies" (which are temporary and deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose services are integrated into the website ("third-party cookies").
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons (also known as tracking pixels or clear GIFs), local storage (HTML5), and device fingerprinting to collect information and provide functionality.
2. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the CZWTV platform. Without these cookies, core features such as user authentication, session management, video playback, language preferences, and privacy consent management cannot function. Because these cookies are essential to the provision of the Service, they cannot be disabled. They do not require your consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC).
The following essential cookies are used on the CZWTV platform:
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| CZWTV_session | Maintains your authenticated session. Contains a unique, encrypted session identifier that allows us to recognise you as you navigate the platform, enabling continuous access to your account, subscription status, and viewing progress without requiring repeated logins. | Session / 30 days | First-party |
| CZWTV_locale | Stores your preferred language and regional settings so that the platform interface, content metadata, subtitles, and communication are displayed in your chosen language across sessions and devices. | 1 year | First-party |
| CZWTV_consent | Records the cookie consent choices you have made via our consent banner. This cookie ensures that your preferences regarding non-essential cookies are remembered and respected on subsequent visits, so you are not asked to provide consent repeatedly. | 1 year | First-party |
3. Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the CZWTV platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously or in aggregated form. These cookies allow us to measure the number of visitors, identify which pages and features are most popular, analyse navigation patterns, detect errors, and assess the performance of our Service. This information helps us improve the platform, optimise content recommendations, and enhance the overall user experience.
Analytics cookies are set only after you have given your explicit consent through our cookie consent mechanism. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 5 below).
We may use third-party analytics services to assist with these activities. These services process data on our behalf under data processing agreements that comply with the GDPR.
4. Functionality Cookies
Functionality cookies allow the platform to remember choices you make and to provide enhanced, personalised features. These cookies may be used to remember your video playback preferences (such as preferred streaming quality, volume level, and subtitle settings), your content filtering choices, and other customisation options that improve your experience on CZWTV.
While functionality cookies are not strictly necessary for the platform to operate, disabling them may result in a less personalised experience. These cookies are set only with your consent.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the following methods:
- Consent Banner: When you first visit the CZWTV platform, a cookie consent banner is displayed, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by accessing the cookie settings link available in the footer of the Platform.
- Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically set your browser to block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. Consult your browser's help documentation for specific instructions.
- Device Settings: On mobile devices and smart TVs, you may be able to manage cookie and tracking preferences through the device's operating system settings.
Please note that blocking or deleting essential cookies may prevent the CZWTV platform from functioning correctly. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect the core functionality of the Service but may limit personalisation features and the relevance of content recommendations.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Certain third-party services integrated into the CZWTV platform may set their own cookies on your device. These third-party cookies are governed by the respective third party's own cookie and privacy policies, not by this Cookie Policy. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties.
Third-party cookies on the CZWTV platform may include those set by:
- Payment processors: Cookies used to facilitate secure payment transactions and fraud detection.
- Analytics providers: Cookies used to collect aggregated usage data for performance analysis.
- Content delivery networks (CDNs): Cookies used to optimise the delivery of video content and static assets.
We encourage you to review the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through the CZWTV platform.
